Had a fab couple of days with this 'tourist' and enjoyed a recce of this December's guided walk!
My auntie Jo popped over from France for a family visit and managed to squeeze and a 10 mile wander through the local countryside.. starting in Whitwell through the grounds of Welbeck Abbey and finishing through Cresswell Crags for a spot of history. Best of all the sunshine shone for the majority! Fingers crossed we will have another lovely day for the actual walk.. Sunday 30th December!!

So yesterday saw the return of our guided walks. A small but perfectly formed group braved the ominous forecast and it paid off.. a few drizzly showers but sunshine for lunch and a great selection of view out over Curbar, Baslow and out across to Chatsworth.

Another woodland adventure day completed... everyone got creative with their woodland collages.. a hedgehog, an owl and a fairy to name a few.. some even took it one step further with a miniature 3d woodland shack!
